Coach Grace
Welcome to 'Ohana Swim School!
As a devout Hawai'i beach girl, Grace naturally gravitated towards the sport of swimming at a young age, and hasn't stopped swimming since.
Early on, Grace also knew that she wanted to share her love and unique understanding of swimming & stroke technique with others so she started teaching swim lessons as soon as she could. Her client base grew and so did her passion for sharing the fun and joy of swimming with others.
Now with around 25 years of coaching experience, she has helped swimmers of all ages and levels around the world from infants learning how to blow bubbles to competitive triathletes and college swimmers looking to take their racing to the next level.
In addition to her aquatics background, Grace also has a Masters of Education from Columbia University which she draws upon to provide unique, personalized and engaging instruction in the pool that is tailored to meet the needs of the "student".
She has multiple coaching certifications and stays current with the swimming world, both instruction and competition.
When not teaching swim lessons, Grace also enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband and pup, getting back home to Hawai’i whenever possible, swimming long distances in the ocean, and occasionally free diving with Tiger Sharks.
Whether you are looking for a swim instructor for yourself or your children, Grace would love to hear from you! She welcomes you to be part of her swim 'Ohana and can’t wait to see you in the pool.
